Google Ad Grant

The Google Grant System

Google will pay for your church's search ads.

Eligible churches can receive up to $10,000 a month in free Google search ads through the Google Ad Grant. We get it approved and we run it for you.

When somebody in your city searches for a church, a Bible study, a youth group or a place to pray, your church shows up at the top of Google and Google covers the bill. We handle the application, the setup and the monthly management, so the grant stays active and keeps working.

The 6 Pillars

Everything You Need to Get and Keep the Grant

01

Eligibility Check

We confirm your church qualifies as an IRS-registered 501(c)(3), or sits under a group exemption, before anybody fills out a form.

02

The Application

We set up your Google for Nonprofits account, walk the verification and get the Ad Grant approved.

03

Campaign Build

We build the search campaigns, the keywords and the ads around how people in your city actually search for a church.

04

Landing Pages

Grant traffic has to land on your church's own website. We make sure the pages it lands on turn a click into a Plan Your Visit.

05

Compliance

Google has rules the grant has to meet every month to stay active. We keep the account inside them so it never goes dark.

06

Reporting and Strategy

Monthly reporting on what the grant brought in, plus a leadership call to align it with your vision.

The Rules

What Google Asks in Return

01

Real Campaigns

The account has to run real, active campaigns every month. Google suspends grants that go quiet.

02

A 5% Click Rate

The account has to hold a 5% click-through rate. That takes tight keywords and ads written for your city, not generic ones.

03

Your Own Website

Every ad has to land on a page your church owns, with conversion tracking showing at least 1 action a month, like a Plan Your Visit.

The grant is free money, and keeping it takes real work every month. That is the part we do.

What We Actually Do

Eight Things We Handle So Your Team Does Not Have To

This is not a guide to the application. We do the application, we build the account and we manage it every month.

  • The EligibilityWe check your 501(c)(3) status or group exemption and tell you straight if anything is missing before we apply.
  • The ApplicationGoogle for Nonprofits enrollment, verification and the Ad Grant activation, done for you.
  • The KeywordsThe searches people in your city actually type: church service times near me, find a church in your city, youth group near me, Christmas Eve service near me, how to pray, grief support in your city. Built around your church, your location and what you offer. When you run a revival or a conference, the grant can point at that too.
  • The AdsEvery ad written in your church's voice and pointed at the right page.
  • The Landing PagesWe tune the pages the ads land on so a stranger becomes a planned visit, and we set up the conversion tracking Google requires.
  • The ComplianceClick-through rate, keyword quality and account activity watched every week, so the grant stays active.
  • The OptimizationEvery month we cut what is not working, grow what is, and put as much of the budget Google gives you to work as the rules allow.
  • The ReportingYou see how many people searched, clicked and planned a visit from the grant, every month.
Why This Matters Now

Up to $10,000 a Month, Already Set Aside for You

Google gives eligible nonprofits up to $10,000 a month in search advertising, and churches qualify. That is $329 a day of top-of-Google placement, and it does not come out of your budget.

Most churches never get it, because the application is confusing and the rules for keeping it are strict. The ones that get approved can lose it when nobody is managing the account.

This works best alongside The Search Visibility System. The grant puts you at the top of Google today, and the search work earns you the spot for good.

Your Part

Four Things We Cannot Do From Our Side

1. Proof that your church is a 501(c)(3). A determination letter from the IRS, or a group exemption letter from your fellowship or denomination.

2. Access to your church's website, or a website we can build. Grant ads have to land on a domain your church owns.

3. Somebody who can click accept. A few steps in the application have to be done by the church itself, and Google asks the church to agree to its program terms, including a nondiscrimination statement your board should read first. We walk you through every step and we tell you what to read before you sign.

4. A little patience. Approval can take a few weeks, and the grant builds results over months, not days.

Questions

Google Ad Grant for Churches FAQs

What is the Google Ad Grant?

A program from Google that gives eligible nonprofits up to $10,000 a month in free advertising on Google Search. Churches that hold 501(c)(3) status qualify. The ads look like regular Google search ads, and Google covers the cost of every click.

Does our church qualify?

If your church is an IRS-registered 501(c)(3), or is covered by your fellowship's group exemption, yes. We check that first, before any application goes in.

Is it really free?

The ad spend is. Google pays for the clicks. What you pay for is the application, the setup and the monthly management that keeps the grant active and working.

Can the grant run Plan Your Visit ads like our Facebook ads?

The grant runs text ads on Google Search only, with no video and no social feeds. It catches people who are already searching for a church, a Bible study or a youth group in your city, and sends them to your website to plan a visit.

Facebook, Instagram and TikTok reach people who were not searching. Together they cover both.

Why do churches lose the grant?

Google requires a 5% click-through rate across the account, real conversion tracking, no single-word keywords and an account that is actively managed. 2 months under the click rate pauses the account. A grant that nobody is watching gets suspended. Our job is to keep yours inside the rules every month.

Where do the ads show?

In your local area only. Google limits houses of worship to their own area, which is exactly where your visitors live. The ads land on your own website, and a Plan Your Visit form submission counts as the conversion Google wants to see.

How long does approval take?

Verification usually takes a few business days and sometimes up to 2 weeks, then Google activates the grant and sends the account invitation. From application to live campaigns is usually 2 to 4 weeks, as long as the church answers the verification emails quickly.

Is this available now?

We are opening it to a first group of churches soon. The Coming Soon button becomes a booking link the day it opens. Book a strategy call and tell us you want the Google Grant, and we will let you know first.

Is this month to month?

Yes, it is month to month with no contract. We would rather earn it every month than lock a pastor into something.
